Simple Kind To Lips Essential Lip Balm SPF 15

Hi! Hope you are enjoying the sun! It feels like such a long time since we have had weather worthy of calling Summer. I'm really loving the warmth but my little one is having a hard time of it. Its just too hot and clammy for babies and he doesn't know where he wants to be. I've got him lathered in factor 50 and stripped to a baby grow. If it stays sunny for the next few days, I'm going to buy a paddling pool for him, try and let him get some pleasure from the sun.

I think its really important to pay attention to SPF in the sun and to always wear protection. It can be so easy to burn and peel and really there is no reason at all we should put ourselves through the pain and hassle. One place that I can easily forget about and neglect in the sun is my lips. I noticed that I had a tube of Simple's new Kind To Lips Essential Lip Balm. I don't know how I came by this product, Not sure If it was something I bought or If it was a sample; I just can't remember to be honest. I'm not sure of the exact retail price but these are going on sale in ASDA, Tesco, Boots and Superdrug. 

The Packaging is really quite nice, Its fresh and clean. I love the combination of white and greens  as the white feels clean and green has a natural leafy feeling to it. Simple's packaging has always been one of my drug store favourites as far as skin care is concerned. The instructions and ingredients are clear and easy to read.

This Lip Balm isn't the best that I've ever used. I loved Figs and Rouge Rambling Rose Balm, but having said that, it's the best lip balm I've used in warm weather. It feels nice and moisturising, helping lips feel smooth. The formula is nice so its creamy but not tacky enough to run with heat. It has good longevity, lips feel nice and comfortable for hours. Its ideal for lips that have already dried too, as it helps restore your pout back to its former kissable glory, whilst preventing further damage with the SPF 15. 

The casing is very functional and the balm feels secure. Nothing worse than applying a tad pressure to a balm and it snapping off. There is a adequate amount of product tucked away in the tube and as you only seem to use the tiniest slick to do the job, Its going to last a long time. I've found It even helps lip stick stay in place better when used as a base. 

To summarize: A really great lipstick that has a space in every handbag. Universal so could be used by all the family. Only down side is I'm yet to see this product in my local shops. I'm going to the metro centre tomorrow (Well today to you lot, this post is scheduled a day in advance), so hopefully I will see it on shelves there. Garnier Skin Naturals Moisture Match

Hello there beautiful. Hope you have had a lovely weekend! I want to introduce you all to my newest little addition to my skincare routine and oh what a shooting star it is. I requested a moisturiser trial from Garnier a little while ago and they sent me three different samples from the Moisture Match range. There are five different combinations so ideally I feel they should have sent a trial of them all to ensure I had all the combinations to tailor the products to my skin type. That said, It was really easy for me to decide which moisturiser would be best for me. The range includes Protect and Glow, Start Afresh, Goodbye Dry, Wake Me Up ans Shine Be Gone. There was no doubt about it I'd need Goodbye Dry. I was going to wait for my current moisturiser to run out and then purchase the Garnier but I quite simply couldn't wait when I noticed the amazing offer in ASDA whereby these moisturisers were just £3.00 Yes, you read that right. What a bargain.

First of all isn't this packaging just the sweetest? It's very girly yet fresh looking. I love that the moisturiser comes in a little box too, I don't know why but I do have somewhat of a love affair with pretty packages in boxes. The instructions are clear and simple and easy to read.
Secondly wow! This Moisturiser is just the best. I don't even know where to start. From the first application my skin felt so very hydrated, It simply drank this product. It absorbed into my skin very quickly. Brilliant if you are in a rush. I do tend to find I'm prone areas of skin that can be exceptionally dry and my make up and other cosmetics never really sit well where my skins imperfections stamp their feet. I say stamp their feet because I have tried scrubs, moisturisers and everything in between to try and tackle these problem areas but nothing that doesn't break the bank has ever really worked (Yes SK-II, I would have loved to have repurchased you but you are just too darn costly!) This moisturiser has literally balanced my skin. To look at now, anyone would think I have normal skin with a really healthy glow.

The consistency of the cream is just beautiful. It didn't feel gloopy or greasy. It is very rich so just a small amount goes a long way. The cream smells very pleasant too. I have noticed a really big improvement to the texture of my skin, it's less flaky, less patchy and I have barely had an imperfection since using this moisturiser. I don't know about you but I do tend to find my sensitive skin can flare up when I alter my skincare routine so it was nice to use a product that is so gentle, my skin didn't notice a change only improvement.

I simply cannot rave about these moisturisers enough. Brilliant value for money even at full retail price (Still under £10.00). They all appear to do exactly what they were designed to do. There are a million and one moisturisers out there on the market but if you want one to work, use Moisture Match. The easiest way to achieve the desired finish you want for your skin.

N Spa Lip Butters

Hello there gorgeous! Hope you are well today! I'm going to share my latest supermarket buy with you all, Its's the N Spa lip butter trio that I picked up from ASDA.

Isn't this packaging just adorable? So colourful, summery and bold. Wonder who the advertising genius was that decided to write "PICK ME" on the box? Pat on the back for that! At the minute I have a growing obsession for beauty goodies that are organic or natural, and these butters fit the bill just nicely. In this day and age why should we be using artificial, man made products that have been tested on animals? there just no need!

Packaging aside (I can ramble forever about packaging!), these lip butters are really lovely. It's nice to have a choice of three different flavours too. With all this warm weather we do need to keep our lips from drying out! My favourite Is the Shea Butter, Its the underdog too, as I imagined I'd prefer the other two (Raspberry or Mango). Just goes to show, don't always rule out anything that you wouldn't normally try!

The Lip butters are very hardened but melt onto your finger quite easily with a good rub, they last a long time but like all lip products you need to re apply quite liberally to maintain that moisturised feeling. The taste stays for a little while but won't last through food or drink.

I paid £3.00 for this trio which is really great value, makes them a snip at £1.00 each.


I'm going to sample a few of N Spa's other products. Any recommendations?
